Fort St. John Provincial Court, May 24th sentencing:

Collins was found guilty of four counts of theft of $5,000 or under, two counts of breach of release order, two counts of possession of a stolen credit card, one count of possession of stolen property, one count of theft over $5,000, one count of break and enter and commit an indictable offence and one count of breach of release order. The crimes were committed in Fort St. John in August 2022, July 2022 and March 2023.

He was sentenced to a total of 200 days in jail, 18 months of probation; victim surcharges totalling $400, which go towards helping victims of a crime, restitution totalling $3,162.27, which requires the offender to pay the victim for financial losses the victim suffered because of the crime, and ordered to submit a DNA sample.

Richard George Cletheroe (born 1989)

Cletheroe was found guilty of carrying a weapon, prohibited device, or ammo concealed, four counts of breach of release order, assault, and theft of $5,000 or under for incidents in Fort St. John from February 2022 to March 2023.

He was given two forfeitures, which allow the government to seize property and assets “tainted” by crime, jail time served, a one-year probation order, victim surcharges totalling $300 and ordered to submit a DNA sample.

Jordan Graham (born 1993)

Graham was found guilty of criminal harassment for an incident in Fort St. John on February 27th, 2021. He was given a conditional discharge and a one-year probation order. A conditional discharge means the record won’t show a conviction if a person meets the judge’s conditions.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court, May 24th sentencing:

Jason Stephen Lucas (born 1972)

Lucas was found guilty of hunting on cultivated land without consent for an incident on August 24th, 2020, in Dawson Creek. He was fined $300, ordered to pay a $1,200 restitution and a $45 victim surcharge. He was also sentenced to a forfeiture.
