HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — Laboratory and X-ray services in Hudson’s Hope remain impacted by staff shortages, Northern Health said in a post on Friday.
The health authority said at this time, the Hudson’s Hope Health Centre is solely a specimen collection site, and no lab testing is being completed at the location.
Specimen collection is intermittently available Monday to Friday on a two-week rotating schedule.
Northern Health added that X-ray services are also currently unavailable.
Those who need an appointment for specimen collection in Hudson’s Hope can call the Northern Health lab booking line at 1-888-223-1530 or schedule an appointment online here.
“Staff at the booking line have access to lab scheduling across the region and can help you find an appointment that best suits your needs and location,” the health authority said.
Those who require laboratory testing or an x-ray can call 250-788-7221 to book an appointment at the Chetwynd Hospital and Health Centre directly.
