UPDATE: Motor vehicle incident results in over 2,800 without power
BC Hydro is reporting that around 2,865 customers are without power in the Fort St. John area.

(4:56 p.m.) UPDATE: Power has been restored to the area. The cause of the large outage was a motor vehicle incident. Energeticcity.ca has reached out to BC Hydro for more information.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — BC Hydro is reporting that around 2,865 customers are without power in the Fort St. John area.
Power went out for affected residents around 3 p.m. Friday, covering most of the area north of Taylor, such as Fort St. John, Rose Prairie, Buick, Prespatou, Wonowon, and Upper Haflway.
