Police want information on man parachuting off Kiskatinaw Bridge

Dawson Creek RCMP is looking for information about a person seen parachuting off the Kiskatinaw Bridge on April 23rd.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Dawson Creek RCMP is looking for information about a person seen parachuting off the Kiskatinaw Bridge. 

RCMP said two witnesses saw a man dressed in all black throw a parachute into the air and jump off the Kiskatinaw Bridge along Highway 97 at around 3:15 p.m. on April 23rd. 

A search by police did not reveal anything of concern.

Police believe the man was participating in base jumping or some other extreme sport. 

Dawson Creek RCMP is seeking further information on the situation surrounding the man on the bridge.
