FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Test your history knowledge to determine what’s out of place in each of the museum’s exhibits on Friday and Saturday.
The Fort St. John North Peace Museum is hosting a search and find for April Fool’s Day this weekend.
Heather Sjoblom, the museum’s curator, says the historical society hid one to three present-day or modern items in the museum’s exhibits for people to identify and find.

“People are gonna have to go through, look at each exhibit and see if they can spot these items,” Sjoblom explained.
“There’s no scavenger hunt sheet to fill out; it’s just seeing what you can find that doesn’t belong in our exhibit.”
She says there will be some subtle placements aimed at older crowds, such as adults or teens, but there will also be items placed so that younger kids can find them.
The curator adds that there are no prizes, only “bragging rights.”

“So it’s going to be lots of fun,” Sjoblom said.
Admission will be free, but donations are welcome to help the North Peace Historical Society operate the museum, and she said purchases in the gift shop also help them out.
