FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A slo-pitch tournament in memory of Clayton Askoty, who passed away in 2012, is back for the fourth time at the Sureus baseball diamonds.
Entry into the tournament is $500 per team and will feature a number of events, including a home run derby for men and women, a 50/50 draw, equipment draws, and various prizes.
The tournament is following Slo-Pitch National rules, and pitchers are required to wear helmets.
Each team is guaranteed at least five games, and carded umpires will be on hand for the games as well.
To register your team, contact Valerie Askoty at 587-343-4973 or Ferlin Makadahay at 250-264-7468.
