FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Sunrise Rotary is bringing a program to the Fort St. John area to help residents display their love for Canada.

Rotary’s long-standing Great Canadian Rent a Flag Program is now available to Fort St. John, Charlie Lake and Taylor residents.

For a $100 donation, club members will install a large pole with a Canadian flag in residents’ front yards that will remain from the May long weekend to after Remembrance Day.

The members will then remove the poles.

The proceeds from the program will go towards Sunrise Rotary and will be put back into the community, according to the club.

Sunrise Rotary would like to thank its flag program sponsors: Arctech Welding and Machining, Home Hardware Building Centre and City Furniture & Appliances.

For more information or to rent a flag, head to Sunrise Rotary’s Facebook page.
