BC Wildlife Federation 50/50 draw for $496,250

The BC Wildlife Federation is doing a 50/50 draw on June 27th for up to $496,250.

Tickets can be purchased in ticket packs ranging in price from $5 to $50 until June 24th at midnight. All purchasers must be in B.C. and be 19 or older

BCWF says the proceeds from this draw are going to several projects.

The federation says they are working with First Nations, the province, and Canada’s government to return controlled burns to the land combining Indigenous knowledge and western science.

Also supported are wetlands and fish habitat education and restoration with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.

Other programs receiving proceeds include the Southern Interior Mule Deer Project, Becoming an Outdoors Woman, Fishing Forever, National Archery in Schools camp, Go Wild! camp, and Wild Kidz camp.
