DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The City of Dawson Creek is starting the annual spring maintenance in the City Cemetery and Brookside Cemetery.
Starting Monday, May 2nd and ending on the 6th, they will be cleaning up specific items from the gravesites.
Only damaged, broken, decayed, weathered, or worn items will be removed and discarded.
The City says that this is done to accommodate regular operational maintenance, maintain aesthetics, and maintain the safety of works and the public.
The City is requesting members of the public to collect any items of significance or sentimental value if needed, and they can be replaced after May 6th.
The City would like to thank the public for their understanding and participation and appreciates everyone doing their best to honour the deceased.
