Property taxes to stay steady in Taylor

TAYLOR, B.C. – The District of Taylor is looking at keeping the property tax rate steady in 2022.

On April 19th, council gave the first of three readings of the tax rate bylaw, which will keep the residential rate at 3.6226 per cent.

In the bylaw, utility taxes will see an increase from 34.5058 per cent to 36.0768 per cent.

Major industry, light industry, business and ‘other’, recreational property and non-profit, and farm taxes also remained the same this year compared to last.
