UPDATE 2: Staff shortages result in pool closure

Update 2: The pool will return to regular operating hours tomorrow.
Update: The pool will remain closed for the rest of today except for swimming lessons and another update will be available at 5 p.m.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Leisure Pool was closed Thursday morning due to staff shortages.

The City of Fort St. John says they are actively working to reduce the closure length, and are hoping to provide an update by noon about when it will reopen.

They say that swimming lessons will still run, beginning at 2 p.m.
