TAYLOR, B.C. – The annual cleaning of the Taylor bridges started Thursday morning.
The bridge will be down to single lane alternating traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday until the project is complete.
The work will stop from noon to 1 p.m. to help with the congestion caused.
On April 25th, the semi-annual re-welding will begin also resulting in single-lane alternating traffic between 7 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. Monday to Friday.
Dawson Road Maintenance also mentions that wide loads up to 16 feet will be able to cross while they are working. However, loads over this amount will be asked to wait while crews clear the bridge to accommodate their crossing.
