TAYLOR, B.C. – The District of Taylor sent out a note warning residents of a water shut off on Tuesday to repair a water service leak.

According to the release, the water will be shut off at 2 p.m., and it will last a couple of hours.

“Please take any precautions you may need to store up water for your household and other water outage issues. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we will rectify the situation as soon as possible,” reads the release from the District of Taylor.

Air could get into the system during the repair, which may cause air or discoloration in the water. If this occurs, the District recommends running household taps for five to ten minutes, preferably an outside tap if possible.

“The water should clear up and return to normal. If the issue continues, please call the District Office at 250-789-3392.”
