DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Peace River Regional District has announced Roxanne Shepherd as its new Chief Financial Officer, starting January 2022.
Shepherd brings fifteen years of local government experience, according to the District’s announcement Friday.
“I am extremely excited that someone with Roxanne’s depth of experience in local government finance is joining our organization,” said Shawn Dahlen, the PRRD’s Chief Administrative Officer.
“The Chief Financial Officer role is a critical one, and Roxanne is the ideal person to lead our financial operations as we move ahead with our many strategic priorities.”
Shepherd is currently the Director of Finance for the District of Clearwater and has senior roles with the Regional District of Bulkley Nechako, City of Grand Forks, Village of Chase and the Cariboo Regional District. She holds the Certified General Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant designations and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thompson Rivers University.
