Liard River Hot Springs reopen tomorrow

VICTORIA, B.C. –The Liard River Hot Springs and campground will reopen to the public with new COVID-19 protocols in place.

Campground reservations opened earlier this month after the hot springs were closed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

BC Parks says visitors will be required to sign up for a specific time slot at the gatehouse as a limited number of people will be able to use the hot springs.

Visitors will also be required to complete a BC COVID-19 Self Assessment, and follow physical distancing and health regulations while using the pools, change rooms and washrooms.  Masks are not required while in the hot springs, and hand sanitizer will be available at the facilities.

BC residents have priority access to campsite reservations until July 8th.
