FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Fire Department is looking for City Council to approve the purchase of two AeroClave RDS 3110 units.
These units would be purchased from Profire Emergency Equipment out of Abbotsford at an estimated cost of $39,000. The funds would be allocated from the remaining funds from two approved 2020 Fire Department Capital Projects.
The two AeroClave RDS 3110 units will provide operational security for the fire department and other city services. The units reduce the risk of exposure to infectious agents and provide a safer environment for staff, which will help the fire department until a vaccine is available and demonstrated effectively.
