FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – B.C. Transit has announced that it is recognizing six individuals, from across the Province, as the latest Transit Superstars.

Out of the six individuals that are being recognized for their professionalism, teamwork and dedication to public transit in their communities, Shiloh Butchart of Fort St. John is being honoured as a Transit Superstar.

According to B.C. Transit, Butchart,  Fleet Management and Accounts Payable for Diversified Transportation Ltd., supports all drivers, leads by example, and is crucial to the success of both the Fort St. John and Dawson Creek transit systems.

Chief Operating Officer for BC Transit, Tim Croyle, says those recognized are the lifeblood of public transit and they go above and beyond to exemplify B.C. Transit’s core values.

“These people are the lifeblood of public transportation in B.C. Transit communities, and it’s our pleasure to honour them as Transit Superstars. They go above and beyond every day to make a difference with customers and co-workers in their communities, and exemplify B.C. Transit’s core values.”
