PRRD accepting information on volunteer help

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The Peace River Regional District’s Chief Administrative Officer says anyone who wants to offer a helping hand as wildfires burn in the Peace Region can let them know at the head office in Dawson Creek.

“We’ve received some offers of assistance from volunteers for resources,” said Chris Cvik. “All we’re doing right now is writing that information down and capturing it until we know more information about what the needs are.”
