Large power outage overnight in Fort St. John

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – B.C. Hydro was working to restore a power outage in most of the City overnight Wednesday after a motor vehicle collision.

The power went out around 11:59 p.m. Tuesday after a motor vehicle collision. The outage was slowly fixed over night with most customers power being restored by 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Approximately 600 customers were affected by the outage.
