55th Oilmen’s Bonspiel in the books
The 55th annual Oilmen’s Bonspiel came to a close Saturday with teams curling in five divisions. In the A event it was Resolve defeating Pimm’s Production in the finals.
Skip Chad Bordeleau said the team wasn’t in any danger in the final matchup and it was good to be on the ice with a couple of people new to the game.
“It felt like we controlled the game. Everybody curled really well. We had a couple of newbies that haven’t really curled much before. We just went out and had some fun,” he said.
On Bordeleau’s rink was lead Shawn Roste second Lee Wizniuk, and third Joffre Jorgenson.
Fraction Energy Services won the B event, Balon took the C event, TCL won the D event, and Troyer were winners in the E event.
