Huskies to be tested over next two road games
The Fort St. John Huskies have two difficult games ahead of them starting tonight. The team will be on the road tonight for a game against the undefeated Fairview Flyers, and they’ll follow that up with a game against the surprising Sexsmith Vipers.
Typically stuck near the bottom of the league’s standings the past number of seasons, the Vipers are off to a strong start early this season with a record of 4-2.
The Huskies are coming off a weekend where they split their last two contests, an 8-2 win over the Beaverlodge Blades coupled with a 5-2 loss to the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings.
The next home game for Fort St. John will come after the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge on November 10 as they’ll host the Fairview Flyers.
