Second round of #PeaceDebates will be at the Lido tonight

After the first of two debates set in the Peace Region went down last night, at Dawson Creek’s Calvin Kruk Centre for the Arts, Fort St. John residents will readily be able to see candidates in their riding debate about a variety of topics, tonight at The Lido Theatre.

The #PeaceDebates is a partnership between Alaska Highway News, and the Dawson Creek and Fort St. John Chambers of Commerce.

NDP candidate Kathi Dickie, Conservative Incumbent Bob Zimmer, and Liberal Matt Shaw have confirmed their attendance.

Green Party candidate Liz Biggar and Libertarian candidate Todd Keller will not be at either debate.

Progressive Party candidate Barry Blackman has not confirmed his appearance yet tonight, but he did attend the debates last night in Dawson Creek.

Alaska Highway News’s Jonny Wakefield is moderating the debates. Users can engage through #PeaceDebates on twitter.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the debate starts at 7 PM.
