RCMP arrested male after robbery at Kelly’s Convenience store

A caucasian male with his face covered left on foot after obtaining some money and cigarettes. A passer-by followed the male to a nearby park, where he was located by the RCMP.

According to the RCMP, after a brief struggle, the male was arrested and will be held to appear in court on Monday April 13. Charges of Robbery, Disguising with Intent, Resisting Arrest, Assaulting a Peace Officer and Breaking of Probation are being recommended.

The RCMP are still investigating the incident and won’t be releasing any more information at this time.
