If forced to make a choice Clark to choose LNG over Site C
There’s already some negative reaction and curiously it’s coming from a B.C. lawyer who has spoken out against the Site C project, claiming in its current state it should be axed.
Robert Botterell was less than pleased with the Premier’s choice of venue to deliver this information.
“This is the biggest decision B.C. will make on infrastructure in its history and here we are finding out new things through an interview in New York. It’s unfortunate that we have to have this sort of discussion in New York with Bloomberg.”
He notes the Premier also raised the proposed price tag on the project by $600,000,000 to $8,500,000,000.
One further point of irritation for Botterell is that the Premier allegedly suggested the third dam on the Peace is not necessary in order for LNG development to go forward, which he argues is the exact opposite to what she’s said in the past.
