A check of those rankings this morning showed J.S. Clark School in Fort Nelson the run-away winner in the Northeast with a 9.5 ranking and followed by J.W. Carlson also in Fort Nelson at 8.2. 

In the Peace Region, Fort St. John’s C.M Finch was the highest ranked at 7.9, followed by Bert Ambrose at 7.6. 

The highest ranked school in the South Peace, Tremblay in Dawson Creek, also had a 7.6 score and the only other ones in the Northeast at seven or more were Upper Pine at 7.5 and Baldonnel at 7.3.

The local area secondary school picture was even more disappointing. 

Two Vancouver schools managed a perfect ten, but all of the Northeast schools were under five. 

South Peace Secondary was 4.2 and North Peace Secondary was four with Tumbler Ridge 3.4, Fort Nelson 2.7, and Chetwynd 1.7.
