Fatal collision Friday night on the Alaska Highway

The elderly male driver of the vehicle passed away due to his injuries shortly after arriving at the Fort St. John Hospital.

Two other passengers remain in hospital for treatment.

The RCMP and a collision reconstructionist remain at the scene and the investigation is on-going.

The Highway is down to single lane alternating traffic until further notice and there are flaggers on scene.  Motorists are advised to slow down in the area and expect delays until the investigation is complete.
