Clear Hills County Agricultural Trade Show this Saturday

The day begins with a $2 breakfast put on by Clear Hills County Councillors, starting at 8 a.m. and doors open at 10 a.m. The judging of arts and crafts and seeds entries will take place tonight, and submissions will be on display Saturday.

There are a variety of exhibitors, including community groups and home-based businesses, showing everything from agricultural foods to tractors. There will be lots to keep the children busy, from a bouncy castle to a kids talent show at 1:30 p.m. that is still accepting entries.

The trade show will be open until 5 p.m., followed by the Farmers Appreciation Banquet with entertainment by Canadian duo Lewis & Royal at 5:30 p.m. and a dance held by the Hines Creek Agricultural Society at 9 p.m., with music by local country musicians Cool Water. Admission to the trade show is free, thanks to sponsors, and tickets are $20 for each the banquet and dance.
