Vehicle hits moose near Chetwynd

The Chetwynd RCMP are asking people to watch for wildlife after a recent collision with a moose.

On Monday, police and ambulance services responded to an accident around 4:40 p.m. on Highway 97 and Cairn Creek Road where a vehicle hit a moose trying to cross the road.

The two occupants of the vehicle were treated for minor head injuries and were taken to hospital.

They were later released.
