The annual awards recognize individuals, companies, and programs leading the way in fields ranging from environmental stewardship to education.

Sci-Tech North Executive Director Lori Ackerman says the awards “celebrate the innovation that is happening in our region, and also make residents and companies aware of the innovation that is going on here.”

She also says the awards can play a vital role in fostering cutting-edge techniques in Northern B.C.
