The Christian Life School in Fort St. John has started the first Christian Distributed Learning School in north-central and north-east BC for grades one to twelve.
Distributed learning allows students to work from home with the assistance of a certified teacher, to set up a study program, which meets provincial learning outcomes…and to monitor and evaluate student progress.
School Principal Don Irwin says the initiative has Ministry of Education approval, and will use the internet and e-mail, to commuicate with students and parents throughout northern BC.
