Armed Robbery @ Charlie Lake General Store

The Fort St. John RCMP is investigating an overnight armed robbery, which reportedly occurred just before midnight this morning at the Charlie Lake General Store.

A police report says an unknown male entered the store, directly approached the counter and produced what was believed to be a handgun.

He then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

Police dogs tracked his flight route to an area just east of the store, where it is believed he may have gotten into a vehicle.

Police are now looking for a suspect described as caucasian, with an average build and approximately five feet, four inches tall.

He’s also said to have a slender face, a large nose and distinctive dark eye brows.
