The deadline is fast approaching for farmers in the Peace to sign up for the 2010 AgriStability program.
Spokesperson Mohini Singh says the program provides a safety net for farmers.

The BC Ministry of Agriculture and Lands will be mailing 2010 AgriStability Enrolment Notices to producers enrolled in the 2009 program year.

Singh says it’s not mandatory for farmers to sign up, but the program provides another resource for participants.

Those who have never participated in AgriStability may do so by requesting a New Participant Package online at www.agf.gov.bc.ca/agristability
Farmers have until April 30th to sign up for the program.
