High on Ice Day two wrap up and photos

The carvers battled the warm weather again today at the High on Ice Winter Festival.

Mayor’s Challenge Ice Carving:
First Place: District of Taylor
Second Place: Fort St. John
 
Thank you to Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge, and Dawson Creek for participating in the Challenge as well.
 
The Intermediate Ice Carving Competition winners will be announced on Sunday along with the Professional Ice Carving Team winners at the 4:30 Awards Ceremony on Sunday at Centennial Park followed by the Fire and Ice Celebration. The warm weather has proven to be a challenge. Everyone is encouraged to come down to Centennial Park early on Sunday to see the sculptures at their best.
