The Fort St. John Hospital Foundation has confirmed it has reached its 2008 Bluey Day fund raising goal, of 200 thousand dollars.
All the money raised this year is going towards the Foundation commitment, of one point three million dollars, of the total cost, of a CT Scanner.
The project will include major renovations to the hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department and, the final price tag is estimated, at one million 750 thousand.
The tenth annual Bluey Day head shaving event was held on May 28th and, the amount raised represents a new campaign record.
