The month of June has been drier and cooler than is the local area norm but, not much cooler…
Yesterday’s high was 17 point seven degrees, leaving the averagehigh for the first 17 days of the month at 18 point five degrees.
Environment Canada shows the average high temperature for June in this region, as 19 point two degrees.
However, it also shows normal precipitation for this month, as 71point four millimeters and, we’ve received less than 35 percent of that.
Yesterday’s one point four millimeters left the running total, for more than half the month, at only 24 point six.
