The spread between the common posted price of gasoline in Fort St.John and, the national average, has increased to nearly seven cents aliter.
The new weekly monitor of Calgary-based MJ Ervin and Associates putsthe 60-city price average, at a dollar and 36 cents a liter.
That’s down one point two cents over the past week but, it is still 29 cents a liter higher than it was this time last year.
Locally, the common posted price is holding steady at a dollar 42point nine cents, 26 cents a liter more than it was on this date in2007.
The common pump price in Fort St. John, which is a dollar 39 pointfour, is the one quoted by the Ervin survey and, it is slightly belowthe provincial average.
The Ervin monitor carries the prices of six BC centers, includingFort St. John and, puts the provincial average at a dollar 41 pointseven.
