Site-C Meetings Continue

BC Hydro, Site-C Dam, Project Definition Consultation meetings will continue next week.

The first one is scheduled for Monday night, from 6 to 9pm in Dawson Creek, at the new Encana Centre.

Others are set for the same time Tuesday night at the Hudson’s Hope Community Hall and, for June 14^th, next Saturday, from 10am to 1pm, at the Cultural Center.

The proposed power project continues to run into stiff opposition in the region, with critics launching new studies on the negative impacts of flooding the valley.

They hope to have a report ready for presentation, for the next Paddle for the Peace event next month.
