Bluey Day Results

184 thousand dollars is the latest running total from the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation, on Saturday’s Bluey Day fundraiser.

However, the total doesn’t include the results of associated fundraisers at Sobeys, M&M Meats and Quiznos.

Thus, officials are confident they’ll top their 200 thousand dollar target, by the end of the week, if not earlier.

The tenth annual event had its most ambitious goal to date, as the foundation continues to raise funds for the purchase of a CT scanner.

Its overall target is one point three million dollars of the total equipment cost, which would eliminate the need, for patients requiring a scan, to travel to Dawson Creek, or further.
