The Northern Environmental Action Team has 51 sponsors and 98 trees, to be planted this coming Saturday.
The 11th annual Arbour Day event will be held this year at Mathews Park, from 10am to 12pm and, the sponsors paid 125 dollars for each tree to be planted.
Meantime Neat is also reminding the public about the Clean Air/Open Air concert, at the St. Luke’s United Church yard, celebrating Clean Air Day, on Friday.
St Lukes, the North Peace Savings and Credit Union, Ferris Fast Cycles and Moose-Fm are the sponsors and, the free event starts at 6pm featuring local artists and musicians.
