Fort St. John RCMP searching for missing 15-year-old

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fort St. John RCMP are searching for a missing 15-year-old last seen on July 6.

On July 9, Fort St. John RCMP announced they were seeking public assistance in locating 15-year-old David Yates, who was reported missing on July 8. 

Police say Yates was last seen on July 6 in the Fort St. John area.

Yates is described as a 15-year-old Caucasian male, 5-foot-9, 110 pounds, with brown eyes and medium-length brown hair. 

Police say he was last seen wearing baggy blue pants, a white T-shirt, mint-coloured Crocs, and a black backpack.

The Yates family and the Fort St. John RCMP have reason to be concerned about his well-being.
