South Peace Health Expo returning to Dawson Creek
The South Peace Primary Care Network (PCN) is returning to Dawson Creek for the second annual South Peace Health Expo, hosted at the Ovintiv Events Centre.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The South Peace Primary Care Network (PCN) is returning to Dawson Creek for the second annual South Peace Health Expo.
On May 23rd, 2026, the expo will be at the Co-op Mercer Hall inside the Ovintiv Events Center in Dawson Creek.
Members of the community are welcome to attend this free event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will be hosted by the PCN, in partnership with healthcare and community organizations in the region.
According to the South Peace Division of Family Practice website, this year’s expo will feature an expanded focus on resilience and connection across the health system, continuing to bring together healthcare providers, community services and local partners.
The theme of this year’s expo is “Resilience: Working Together for Healthy Communities,” highlighting the importance of supporting individual and community well-being and strengthening connections across the healthcare system.
Michelle Tonn,the PCN manager for the South Peace Division of Family Practice, said the Health Expo provides residents of the South Peace with a chance to come together and discuss the health services available to them.

“The Health Expo is an opportunity for people to connect with local providers, learn about available services and explore how we can come together to support the health and well-being of our communities across Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge and the broader South Peace Region.”
According to the South Peace Division of Family Practice, the expo will include interactive exhibits, engaging activities and information booths, hosted by over 30 local service providers and organizations.
Healthcare professionals will also be present at the expo, providing residents with an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about navigating and accessing care in their community.
