They say one driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while several other occupants were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police did not say exactly how many people were involved in the crash, which occurred at the intersection of 118th Street and 75A Avenue.
They say collision analysts were called to collect evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Officers responded to the call at about 3:08 p.m. Saturday.
Police are asking anyone with video footage from the area at the time of the crash to contact them.
