John Gordon Gunn

July 26, 1961 to April 7, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death
of John Gordon Gunn. He was a loving and caring father, brother and son. He was a good friend to everyone who was lucky enough to know him.

A hard working tradesman as a millwright, Welder, and at one time, an Awning business owner. John was a strong and courageous man with a heart of gold. He was honest, true and brave. As everyone who knew him knows he lived life on his own terms, but in times of need he would give you the shirt off his back. Many remember his signature smile.

John loved his friends and family dearly, and he was a fond
lover of animals. He will be deeply and tremendously missed.

He is survived by his children Lauren Savannah Gunn, Ariel Robin McCormick, Jesse Jonathan Ian Gunn, Valencia Suzanna Gunn and Honorary Daughter Amika Elise Morin-Fox; his Honorary grandkids of the Beaudette family; his sisters Brenda Blanchard and Doreen Andrena Gunn; his Mother Joan Valencia Olson and late father Ian Bruce Gunn.
And many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.

His Celebration of life will be held on
Sunday, May 3rd 2026
The Lido Theatre 10156 100th Ave Fort st John, BC
Starting at 1pm.
There will be a light lunch to follow.
