Emily Olson, community giving and event coordinator at the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation, spoke with Energeticcity.ca about what the donation means to the organization.

“Probe support is a sponsorship that will allow us to elevate the Bluey Day event and make it more family-oriented and build that community and welcoming spirit of Bluey Day, not just for our participants but also for those that are in attendance.”

Olson said Probe has been donating to the hospital foundation since 2005.

“Probe has supported Bluey Day in the past through donations for the swag bag for participants; they’ve donated regularly to participants within Bluey Day,” said Olson. “This is just the next natural progression [of the partnership] and I’m really excited to have them on board [to] be able to capture this vision of what we wanted Bluey Day to be for our community.”

Olson explained without donations, many of the events the foundation organizes would not be possible.

“We wouldn’t be able to do what we do with enhancing patient care without the support of our corporate partners, whether it’s a corporation or an individual donor.”

Those who wish to donate to Bluey Day can do so on the Canada Helps Website. Donations are accepted for the overall Bluey Day 2026 event or for individual participants.

Bluey Day has currently reached $30,000 of its $100,000 goal.
