Four, including three youths, charged in Metro Vancouver stabbing
NEW WESTMINSTER — Police in Metro Vancouver say four people — including three youths — have been arrested and charged in connection with a stabbing after a multi-month investigation.
New Westminster police say the case began on Aug. 1, 2025, when officers responding to a 911 call about a fight in the Queensborough neighbourhood found a man who was stabbed but survived.
Police say major crimes investigations looked into the case for several months and made the arrests in February, with charges relating to assault and robbery approved against all four suspects.
The oldest of the accused is an 18-year-old who has been identified, although three others cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Investigators say they are still looking into if the victim and the accused knew each other prior to the attack.
Police did not release any additional information on the circumstances, the accused or the victim in the case.
