FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John Minor Hockey Association has paid tribute to one of its players who has passed away. 

On January 1st, 2026, the association’s Facebook page said a “treasured” unnamed player had passed away “unexpectedly.”

“Our thoughts are with the player’s family, teammates, coaches and friends during this incredibly difficult time,” it wrote.

The association asked everyone “respect the family’s privacy as they grieve.”
