Car fire extinguished by Charlie Lake firefighters

The Charlie Lake Fire Department put out a vehicle fire off Highway 97 on December 30th between Fort St. John and Charlie Lake.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire between Charlie Lake and Fort St. John yesterday. 

According to the Peace River Regional District (PRRD), firefighters from the Charlie Lake Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 10722 Clairmont Frontage, off Highway 97, shortly after 9 p.m. on December 30th. 

A total of 11 firefighters worked for approximately an hour and a half to contain and extinguish the blaze.

The regional district stated no mutual aid was called for and the incident has since concluded.
