Obituary – Rory Charles Brooks

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rory Charles Brooks on December 7th, 2025.

Born on July 11th, 1982, Rory was a lighthearted, funny and kind soul whose presence brought joy to everyone around him.

His devilish grin and quick wit could brighten even the darkest day, and his love for life was truly infectious.

Rory cherished his family and friends above all else. He was loving father to his beloved son, Teigan Brooks, and held a deep love for his late fiancée Chantel Kitsch, who tragically passed on September 27th, 2025.

He is survived by his loving parents, Ann and Mickey Brooks, his sister Alicia Brooks, and his nephew Cooper Chesworth.

Rory also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends from all over British Columbia who will forever remember his laughter and warmth.

Rory lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with humour and heart. He loved to have fun, share stories and create memories that will live on in those who knew him best.

His spirit was one of generosity, kindness and unwavering loyalty—a true friend and family man.

Though Rory’s time with us was far too short, his impact will be felt forever. He was, and always will be, the kind of soul who made the world a better place simply by being in it.

A celebration of Rory’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honour his memory and share the stories that made him so special.

Rest in peace, Rory. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
