Taylor skating club garners support for 50/50 raffle to benefit non-profit programs

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A local skating club is running an online 50/50 draw to garner funding for its non-profit programs. 

The Peace Passage Skating Club in Taylor is holding the online cash prize draw with tickets of $10 and a raffle of more than $500.

As of November 18th, the club’s 2025 raffle jackpot was $1,070.

The club operates multiple programs for skaters of different abilities, and also has a competitive skating program. 

The non-profit organization began advertising the raffle on November 3rd, and will conclude on December 17th at 5 p.m. 

The club stated online 1,500 tickets were available for sale. The prize will be drawn at 5 p.m. on December 18th.
