FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Arc Resources’ production rose in the third quarter of the year compared to both the previous quarter and 2024, despite a downtick in earnings.

The company has released its third quarter financial results for 2025, reporting net earnings of $214 million — or 37 cents per share — for the three months ending September 30th.

That’s down from the $396 million reported for the second quarter of the year and the nearly $329 million reported for the same time frame in 2024.

However, year-to-date earnings are on the rise, with over a billion dollars in net earnings so far in 2025 compared to nearly $754 million by the end of last September.

Despite the downtick in quarterly earnings, the company is reporting an increase in production, with a daily average of 359,236 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day in the third quarter of 2025 compared to 357,228 in the second quarter and 326,768 in 2024’s third quarter.

The daily average for 2025 so far sits at 362,862 boe per day compared to 336,346 by the same time last year.

In particular, the company’s report highlights that it produced 113,959 barrels of crude oil and condensate per day during the third quarter, which it says is a new record.

The report also outlines information on Arc Resources’ plans for 2026, including its assets in northeast B.C.

The company plans to invest at least $250 million into the Attachie area next year as part of ‘phase one’ of its operations in the area, including new development in the lower Montney basin.

Arc expects to produce 30,000 to 35,000 boe per day through its Attachie assets in 2026, as well as 90,000 to 95,000 boe per day from its operations near Dawson Creek and roughly 60,000 boe per day from its Sunrise dry natural gas facility.
